I haven’t even listened to this record yet, but Im sure its a keeper. If you don’t know who Kidcrash or “the Kidcrash” are then you have been sleeping on a fantastic music outfit and should familiarize yourself with every piece of their discography here. Think Math Rock, then take all those whole notes and make them half notes let them wander a bit and then continually change the timing and direction of the song. Honestly If you want the best description of their music check out their album art. If you find a lot of beauty, but are slightly confused as to whats going on then i think you’re in the right place. You can invest in this vinyl from Init Records for a measly 10$, pretty sure i preordered the white.

Sign number one that you will like this band, they have their own TUMBLR where they post things that they like, and NOT just fucking updates and gay mirror pics of their band. This has a bit of polish and flair to it, not to mistaken with a lot of the garage math rock that’s flooding the internet right now. By the way, their drummer is a FUCKING BOSS, and he plays his kit until its shit wrecked. This on vinyl would be real treat. If you don’t believe me watch this video where they play infront of a fucking christmas tree, it will melt your cold heart.

Here’s something kind of random to check out. I don’t really know how to get people into this, it’s kind of off the wall with electronic elements that make it sound like sub-saharian rhythms but with mathy guitar licks and uptempo drumbeats. If you’re drawing a blank it
sounds like: if Omar Rodriguez Lopez took a math rock show with a sick synth dude and maybe a steel drum out into the African Wilds and just fucking played a show for some zebras??
It’s just interesting fun dance punk, maybe take a gander just to see what the fuss is about…
