I hope this has already been on your radar, since i’ve been ignoring this for a while. I am regretting it, because this is pretty epic and i almost missed the fucking preorder on white. But then again it’s coming out on Topshelf so i can’t say I’m surprised to find myself buying it this. TWIABP has been on my Post-Rock backburner for a while, and Deer Leap have a pretty great Demo you should check out if this record tickles you. It reminds me of the Balance and Composure / Tiger Jaw, not because they sound similar but because everyone is talking about how damn “breathless” it’s leaving them.

I haven’t even listened to this record yet, but Im sure its a keeper. If you don’t know who Kidcrash or “the Kidcrash” are then you have been sleeping on a fantastic music outfit and should familiarize yourself with every piece of their discography here. Think Math Rock, then take all those whole notes and make them half notes let them wander a bit and then continually change the timing and direction of the song. Honestly If you want the best description of their music check out their album art. If you find a lot of beauty, but are slightly confused as to whats going on then i think you’re in the right place. You can invest in this vinyl from Init Records for a measly 10$, pretty sure i preordered the white.
